• Conduct consultative meetings with key leaders, informers and communities in the project areas
and establishing their views on resettlement of project affected people.
• Identification, Analysis and Assessment of socio-economic and physical resettlement impacts of
the proposed project to the communities.
• Review existing Resettlement Policies, legal and administrative frameworks
• Review resettlement policy plan framework
• Review valuation of affected properties and businesses
• Review proposed Social, Physical and Economic Impact Mitigation Plan/Measures.
• Propose Resettlement Policy Framework Report
• Review recommended plans for monitoring the implementation of resettlement mitigation
measures.
• Review identified and Proposed Social Impact Mitigation Plan/Measures.
• Review Resettlement Action Plan.
• Review, monitor and supervise implementation of ‘Health and Safety Plan’ in DPR
• Review, Approval and Implementation of Environment Management Plan
• Review and implementation of Safety measures/environmental mitigation measures
• Review and supervise implementation of Public Health and Public safety Awareness Safety
• Review and supervise implementation of HIV/AIDS Awareness and Prevention programme and
Social Management Plan
